It’s that time of the year, where we get a chance to celebrate and acknowledge accomplishments within the UK Queer community. This year from the Gaysian community Asifa Lahore/Asif Quraishi is one of the judges. Over the last couple years I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know some movers and shakers in the community. Through their contributions, organisations, blogs, videos, social groups, parties, plays, books and humanitarian work – they’ve inspired me. Some do it quietly and some do it loudly – but their hearts burn with passion to make a difference in our community.
I’ll be adding more names to our bucket list, we’re still waiting back from folks.
If you have any suggestions for this blog post, please email us… include their name and links to their work/website.
